Concept Focus on intensive conceptual work for the product still lifes. The goal was clear: to create images that people remember. We deliberately wanted to stand out from the crowd of classic, predictable butcher aesthetics and find a visual approach that stages the product in a completely new and unexpected way.
Preparation For logistical reasons, the shoot was executed entirely on location. We arrived with a trailer full of props and materials to build the elaborate miniature sets directly at the client's premises. The idea: the hard artisanal labor is portrayed directly on the product using small figures—creating a charming and surprising story.
Post-production A rustic, honest color look. Targeted contrast control to optimally highlight the fine textures of the meat and to integrate the miniature worlds realistically and harmoniously into the raw, dark setting.
