Project
We developed an authentic and grounded visual language for a traditional South Tyrolean distillery specializing in premium spirits. The goal was to visually represent the craftsmanship and values of the company, which exclusively uses fruit from its own orchards, in a natural and unpolished way.
During the shoot, we captured both business and work-related photos on-site. In the distillery and cellar, we used mobile lighting equipment to create subtle accents, enhancing the authentic atmosphere without compromising the natural look of the images. Our focus was on documenting the master distiller at work and the team in everyday moments, such as meetings and tastings.
Throughout the shoot, we continuously monitored image quality, lighting, and composition via our iPad. This allowed for direct collaboration with the client, who was able to provide real-time feedback and be actively involved in the creative process. As a result, we were able to continuously refine the shots, ensuring the client’s vision was always at the forefront.
The product photography was carried out in our studio, which is fully equipped for high-quality product shoots. This setup allowed us to work efficiently and precisely, saving the client both time and effort.
After the shoot, we provided the client with an easy-to-use online gallery, where they could select their preferred images. The final digital optimization of the photos ensured consistent, high-quality results, while maintaining the natural and authentic feel of the images.
Preparation
We developed an authentic and grounded visual language specifically tailored to the client’s brand. As the distillery exclusively uses fruit from its own orchards, it was important to visually convey a natural and unpretentious image that reflected the company’s values. Prior to the shoot, we carefully planned the lighting and setting to capture both the craftsmanship of the distillery and the genuine atmosphere of the production environment.
Execution
During the on-site shoot, we focused on both business and work-related scenes. Using mobile lighting equipment, we carefully accentuated key areas within the distillery and cellar to enhance the authenticity without creating an artificial look. Our aim was to capture the master distiller in action, as well as the team during meetings and tastings, all in a natural setting.
Throughout the shoot, we continuously monitored the image quality, lighting, and framing via an iPad. This allowed us to work closely with the client, who could provide real-time feedback and contribute to the creative process. This collaboration ensured we stayed aligned with the client’s vision at every step.
Studio Work
The product photography was conducted in our fully equipped studio, optimized for efficiency and precision. This setup allowed us to streamline the process, resulting in high-quality product images while saving both time and effort for the client.
Post-production
After the shoot, we provided the client with an intuitive online gallery to easily select their preferred images. This not only simplified the selection process for the client but also ensured a smooth workflow for us. The chosen images were then digitally optimized to maintain consistent quality across all photos, ensuring the final results aligned with the natural and authentic visual language we had established.
Result
The final images captured the essence of the distillery, highlighting its dedication to tradition and craftsmanship. The collaboration between our team and the client during every phase of the project ensured a result that not only met but exceeded expectations, with a focus on authenticity and high-quality execution.
